About the Project

The CODE Beacon was created to entice audiences to the Cultural Olympiad Digital Edition’s Live exhibition held during the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver. The sign features eco-friendly LED lights as well as animations which are easily updated using custom software. The beacon project was successfully completed in time for CODE Live, and overcame a tight budget and a short timeline with impressive results.
