Digital media is an industry flourishing worldwide and EMDM graduates are in demand. In British Columbia alone there are over 600 digital media and entertainment technology companies (60% in Metro Vancouver) employing more than 16,000 people and generating $2.3 billion in annual revenue.[1] The MDM program prepares graduates for careers at the highest level in the industry as producers, creators, designers, managers and entrepreneurs.

The Executive MDM degree is accredited and awarded by four major Canadian post-secondary institutions: the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, Emily Carr University of Art + Design, and the British Columbia Institute of Technology. EMDM graduates receive a combined master’s degree bearing the seals of all four partner institutions.

The EMDM program curriculum is designed to suit working professionals looking for career advancement. The part-time program is intensive, experiential and project-based, and the low residency requirement means courses are delivered online and during evenings and weekends.
