V7 Entertainment is an end-to-end high quality video game development company founded by a handful of graduates of the Masters of Digital Media program at Great Northern Way Campus. The primary focus of the company is on XBox360, PC and Windows 7 Phone platforms using in-house tools and technology leveraging their Hive2 rapid prototyping game engine.

V7 is actively developing an exciting licensed property for a major media conglomerate for release in 2012. This franchise includes partnerships with state of the art technology and software companies along with high traffic websites tied to the target market. The team is also actively building a wide range of publishing, investment and title development relationships via industry enhanced partnerships and relationships with government and University programs.

These include a MITACS Accelerate internship and an internship with the Masters of Digital Media (MDM) Program, hiring of MDM alumni, successful NRC IRAP project, SR&ED and BC Media Tax Credits and support from Wavefront, DigiBC, the Centre4Growth and the CEO in-Residence program. V7 was a 2011 winner of the 'Generator' competition held by Discovery Parks and the city of Vancouver.
