ABOUT OUR PROGRAM | The MDM is a 20-month professional graduate degree program offering students advanced industry-relevant and multidisciplinary education and experience in the games and digital media industry. Working collaboratively in teams on real world projects, students from diverse backgrounds develop the essential skills for careers as entrepreneurs and senior level managers, designers, and creators. Graduates receive a powerhouse master's degree jointly awarded by Vancouver's four major post secondary institutions: University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, Emily Carr University of Art + Design, and British Columbia Institute of Technology.

The third edition of a collaborative event that has quickly become a beloved Vancouver homegrown initiative. In one unique venue, 12 adventurous West Coast theatre companies perform 12 distinct performance pieces in continuous rotation. The audience experience is self-directed: choose when and where to see each site-specific show, then regroup for some theatrical social networking in the central lounge space. Past HIVE events have been wildly popular affairs with stimulating work on display, music and dancing into the night.
