The Pixar Story was an inspiring documentary that charted the unexpected rise of the company we all are inspired from, with its groundbreaking effects and animation excelling with each new release. In a world of one hit wonders it is almost unheard of to build upon and better the success of its previous release with the new one.

The first parts of the documentary were about John Lasseter a brilliant animator who became one of Pixar’s signature people. It traces his professional start as an animator with Walt Disney unfortunate firing all orchestrated by fate to transform the mishap into a disguised opportunity. An insight on how hard it was to create such amazing pieces of work and the sacrifice that all of the workers had to do was truly inspiring. This was followed by plenty of interviews with the creators, big name CEOs such as Steve Jobs and a lot of personal experiences by the key people at Pixar. Pixar Story is a unique company with an incredible energy that  is sustained until this very day and should inspire us all and diminish any fear of being great.
