The humbling thing about the web is that no matter what unique idea for a patent, product, area of research, or name for a company you come up with, chances are if you do a search for it in Google, you will find that at least one person, if not several others, have already beat you to the punch. Given the fact that approximately 1.5 billion people are now using the Internet, the chances for uniqueness or distinctive individuality are exponentially decreasing on a daily basis. I did however think that my name was unique enough to be an identifier of me alone. Well, I had to think again, when Joanna Robinson alerted me to this recent news story.
